About Jordal Skatepark
Jordal Skatepark is located at Jordalsveien 12 in the Jordal area of Oslo, near the iconic Jordal Amfi ice hockey arena. Built in 2018, this outdoor park has become one of Oslo's most popular spots. The layout is excellent - there's a deep bowl with pool coping, a snake run section, and a well-designed street area with ledges, flat bars, manual pads, and some creative gap setups. The concrete quality is top-notch, as you'd expect from a newer Scandinavian build. The park sits in a sports complex area with easy access by tram and bus, and the diverse Gamlebyen neighborhood nearby has great kebab shops and ethnic food options. Summer sessions here are magical - Oslo gets nearly 19 hours of daylight in June, so you can skate well into the evening. The park draws a mixed crowd of experienced locals and beginners, and the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive.
