About Hitra Skatepark
Hitra Skatepark is at Fillan on the island of Hitra, connected to the mainland by an undersea tunnel in Trøndelag. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Hitra is one of Norway's largest islands and is famous for the Hitra deer - the island has a large red deer population and hosts hunting season each autumn. The coastal landscape is windswept and beautiful, with fishing being a way of life. The aquaculture industry is major here, and the seafood is excellent.
