Fysak Allaktivitetshus is Bergen's main indoor skatepark, located at Vilhelm Bjerknes vei 42. Opened in 2007, this covered facility has been the backbone of Bergen's skate scene for nearly two decades. Bergen is one of Europe's rainiest cities - it rains roughly 240 days per year - so an indoor park isn't just nice to have, it's absolutely essential for survival as a skater. The hall features wooden ramps, a bowl, street obstacles, and a mini ramp. The facility also hosts other activities, making it a true community hub. Bergen's setting between seven mountains and the fjord is stunning, and the city's UNESCO-listed Bryggen wharf and vibrant music scene (Kygo, Aurora, and many others come from here) give it incredible cultural energy. The skate scene here is tight-knit and resilient - you have to really love skating to keep at it with 240 rain days a year, and Bergen's skaters definitely do.
