About Florø Skatepark
Florø Skatepark is at Hamregrinda in Norway's westernmost town, located on the coast of Vestland county. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Florø is built on the petroleum industry - the first North Sea oil was piped ashore here at the Sture terminal - and the town has grown with the oil era. The coastal setting is beautiful with islands and skerries, and the nearby Kinn island has a medieval stone church. There are restaurants and shops along the harbor, and the Florø Havnedager harbor festival is a summer highlight. The westernmost location gives dramatic ocean sunsets.
