About Flipside Skatepark
Flipside Skatepark occupies a converted hangar at the old Lista Air Station, a former NATO military base on the windswept southwestern tip of Norway. This indoor facility is a gem - wooden ramps, a mini ramp, street section with rails and ledges, and plenty of room to session year-round regardless of the notorious coastal weather. The military base setting gives it a unique, almost post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Lista itself is known for its flat beaches and lighthouse, and the area is popular with kitesurfers. There's not much food nearby, so bring snacks.
