About Bykle Skatepark
Bykle Skatepark is on Sarvsvegen in Bykle, a mountain municipality in the upper Setesdal valley in Agder. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Bykle is one of Norway's wealthiest municipalities per capita thanks to hydroelectric power revenues, and this wealth has funded excellent public facilities despite the tiny population. The Setesdal valley is famous for its preserved folk culture, traditional silver jewelry, and the Setesdal bunad (national costume). The Hovden ski resort is nearby, and the surrounding Setesdal Vesthei highlands offer wilderness hiking. Extremly limited services but exceptional mountain scenery.
