About Blåmann Skatepark
Blåmann Skatepark is on Ersfjordveien on the island of Kvaløya, connected to Tromsø by bridge. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Kvaløya - 'Whale Island' - is the largest island in the Tromsø area and has stunning scenery including the Ersfjord beach (one of Norway's most beautiful Arctic beaches) and the Blåmann peak. The island has a mix of residential areas and wilderness, and the driving scenery around the coast road is spectacular. Limited services on the island itself, but Tromsø city center is about 20 minutes across the bridge. Arctic skating with mountain and fjord views.
