About Aurland Skatepark
Aurland Skatepark is on Onstadvegen in Aurland, at the head of the Aurlandsfjord, a narrow branch of the Sognefjord surrounded by towering mountains. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Aurland is the starting point for the famous Nærøyfjord cruise - the Nærøyfjord is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the narrowest fjords in the world. The Stegastein viewpoint high above the fjord offers jaw-dropping views, and the scenic Aurlandsfjellet mountain road connects to Lærdal. The village has a few tourist-oriented shops and restaurants, and the scenery is absolutely world-class.
