About Alværn Skatepark
Alværn Skatepark is on Alvernveien on the Nesodden peninsula, a residential area in the Oslofjord south of Oslo accessible by ferry from Aker Brygge. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Nesodden has an artistic, alternative community with many creative professionals who commute to Oslo by boat. The ferry ride across the fjord takes about 30 minutes and is scenic. The peninsula has forests, coastal paths, and a strong local culture with galleries and organic farms. There are basic shops at Tangen center, and the park serves the local Alværn community.
