About Destination Skatepark
Destination Skatepark is a premier skating facility at 1 Hull Road on the corner of Maunganui Road in Mt Maunganui, Bay of Plenty. Opened in 2024, this purpose-built outdoor park lives up to its name with a large-scale design featuring competition-quality bowls, extensive street sections, flow lines, and diverse obstacles. The park includes ledges, handrails, stairsets, banks, quarter pipes, and a deep bowl. Located at the base of Mauao (Mt Maunganui), one of New Zealand's most iconic landmarks, this park has quickly become one of the top skateparks in the country, drawing riders from across the North Island.
