Capelle aan den IJssel's Watervallei skatepark was rebuilt in 2023, bringing fresh concrete and modern design to this Rotterdam satellite city. The park features an updated layout with ledges, banks, manual pads, a quarter pipe, and flat bars. Capelle is densely populated - one of the most densely inhabited municipalities in the Netherlands - but the Hitland and IJsselpark nature areas provide green breathing room along the river. The park sits in the Watervallei neighborhood and draws riders from across Capelle and eastern Rotterdam.
