About Skatepark Terneuzen
Terneuzen's skatepark brings concrete skating to this industrial port city on the south bank of the Westerschelde in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen - the part of Zeeland that's technically on the Flemish side of the estuary. The park features ledges, banks, manual pads, a quarter pipe, and flat bars. Terneuzen is dominated by the massive chemical industry complex along the canal that connects to Ghent, giving it a working industrial character. The Westerscheldetunnel connects the city to the rest of Zeeland, ending the isolation that defined Zeeuws-Vlaanderen for centuries. The Belgian border is just a few kilometers south, and many residents regularly cross for shopping or dining.
