About Skatepark Ruwaard
The Ruwaard neighborhood skatepark in Oss serves this North Brabant city known for its meat processing industry and as the birthplace of the Dutch labor movement. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, a quarter pipe, and flat bars. Oss has a strong working-class heritage - the Unox and Organon factories shaped the city's identity, and the labor struggles of the early twentieth century are commemorated in the city's museums. The Ruwaard district is a residential area on the city's west side. The park draws riders from across Oss and the surrounding Maasland region. The Maas river flows just north of the city, and the Lith ferry crossing connects to the Bommelerwaard polder on the other side.
