About Skatepark Middelburg
The capital of Zeeland province, Middelburg boasts one of the most beautiful city centers in the Netherlands, and its skatepark gives riders a base from which to explore. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, a quarter pipe, and flat bars. Middelburg's magnificent Gothic town hall on the Markt is considered one of the finest in the country, and the abbey complex with its twin towers dominates the skyline. The city was heavily damaged in World War II but was meticulously reconstructed, and today the center looks much as it did centuries ago. Zeeland's coastal landscape of islands, dikes, and tidal flats surrounds the city, and the North Sea beaches are within easy cycling distance.
