About Area 51 Skatepark
Tucked inside the iconic Klokgebouw in Eindhoven's Strijp-S district, Area 51 is one of the Netherlands' most celebrated indoor skateparks. The converted Philips factory building gives the space an industrial edge with towering ceilings and raw concrete pillars framing the skating area. The park features a well-designed street section with ledges, rails, manual pads, and hubbable stairs, plus a solid mini ramp and a deeper bowl for transition riders. The Strijp-S neighborhood has transformed into a creative hub with galleries, restaurants, and design studios surrounding the old factory complex. Grab a coffee at one of the trendy cafes on Torenallee before or after your session, or check out the weekly food market that sets up nearby. The park hosts regular competitions and has a small shop selling decks and hardware. Eindhoven's central station is a short bike ride away, making it easy to reach from anywhere in the city.
