Telšiai's skatepark serves the unofficial capital of Žemaitija (Samogitia) - the stubborn western Lithuanian region that was the last part of Europe to be Christianized, accepting baptism only in 1413. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Telšiai sits on the shores of Lake Mastis, with the cathedral and seminary on the hilltop above.
