About Alytus Jaunimo Park
Alytus' Jaunimo (Youth) Park skatepark serves this southern Lithuanian city on the Nemunas river, the largest city in the Dzūkija region known for its pine forests, mushrooms, and ancient Baltic traditions. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Alytus' dramatic setting on the Nemunas river bluffs, with five bridges crossing the river, gives it the nickname 'City of Bridges.' The Dzūkija National Park to the east preserves the largest forest in Lithuania. The park draws riders from the Alytus region. The food is Dzūkian - mushroom dishes, buckwheat pancakes, forest berries, and the foraging culture of Lithuania's most wooded region.
