Preiļi's skatepark serves this Latgale town whose neo-Gothic castle ruins and romantic landscape park are among the most atmospheric in the region. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. The nearby Aglona Basilica, Latvia's most important Catholic pilgrimage site, draws hundreds of thousands on Assumption Day (August 15). The Latgale landscape of lakes and gentle hills surrounds the town. The park draws riders from the Preiļi municipality.
