Jūrmala's Kauguri skatepark serves the western end of this elongated beach resort, in a neighborhood that's more residential and year-round than the touristy center. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Kauguri represents everyday Jūrmala - families, commuters to Riga, and the community that maintains the resort town through the quiet winter months when summer visitors are gone. The pine forests and beach are just as accessible here, without the crowds. The park draws riders from western Jūrmala.
