About Imanta Skatepark
Riga's Imanta skatepark serves this western residential district, a large Soviet-era housing area that's home to many of Riga's families. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. Imanta sits near the Latvian Open Air Ethnographic Museum on the shores of Lake Jugla, one of Europe's oldest and finest open-air museums with over 100 traditional buildings. The park draws riders from western Riga's residential zones. The food is neighborhood Latvian - the cafeterias and bakeries serving the residential community, with traditional Latvian pīrādziņi (bacon rolls) and skābeņu zupa (sorrel soup) available at local eateries.
