About Sondalo Skatepark
Sondalo's skatepark serves this small Alpine town in the upper Valtellina near the Stelvio Pass. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Sondalo sits at nearly 1,000 meters elevation in a narrow valley beneath towering peaks. The Stelvio National Park begins nearby, protecting some of the most spectacular Alpine landscapes in Italy. The park draws riders from the upper valley. The food is mountain Valtellina - pizzoccheri, bresaola, and sciatt. Bormio's ski resort and thermal baths are just up the road. Skating at this elevation, surrounded by peaks, is a uniquely Alpine experience.
