About Sombrero Skatepark
Cervia's Sombrero is one of Italy's newest skateparks, opening in 2024 in this Adriatic salt-town turned beach resort. The park features cutting-edge concrete design with ledges, banks, a bowl, manual pads, and quarter pipes. Cervia is unique - its ancient salt pans have been producing salt since Etruscan times, and the sweet salt of Cervia is still harvested traditionally and used by top chefs. The pine forests that line the coast here were planted centuries ago and provide shaded walks between the beach and the town. The park sits in the Parco Aldo Spallicci and draws riders from the Romagna riviera. Milano Marittima, the glamorous beach resort adjoining Cervia, brings a fashionable crowd in summer. Piadina from the beachfront kiosks and fresh clams from the Adriatic are the essential local foods.
