About Skatepark Posatora
Ancona's Posatora skatepark opened in 2023, bringing fresh concrete to the capital of the Marche region. The park features modern design with ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Ancona sits on a promontory overlooking the Adriatic, with the ancient port, Romanesque cathedral on the hilltop, and Greek-influenced Arco di Traiano creating a layered historical cityscape. The city is the gateway to ferries heading to Croatia, Greece, and Turkey, giving it an international, maritime character. The Marche food tradition shines here - brodetto all'anconetana (fish stew), olive all'ascolana, and local Verdicchio wines are excellent. The park serves the Posatora neighborhood and draws riders from across Ancona.
