Jesi's skatepark sits in the Parco del Ventaglio in this medieval walled city in the Marche hills - the birthplace of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Jesi's intact medieval walls, the Palazzo della Signoria, and the Teatro Pergolesi (named after the composer, also born here) create a city of remarkable cultural density for its modest size. The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi wine region surrounds the city, producing one of Italy's finest white wines. The park draws riders from the Vallesina area. The food is Marchigiana - vincisgrassi, olive all'ascolana, and ciauscolo are regional specialties.
