Rimini's skatepark in the Parco Ausa serves the queen city of the Italian Riviera - the birthplace of Federico Fellini and the epicenter of Italian summer beach culture. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Rimini has two faces - the ancient city with its Roman Arch of Augustus, Tiberius Bridge, and Malatesta Temple (designed by Alberti), and the modern beach resort with kilometers of stabilimenti, nightclubs, and seasonal hotels. The Fellini Museum celebrates the director's surreal vision. The park draws riders from across the Riviera. Piadina stands are everywhere, and the fish restaurants at the old port serve the freshest catch. In winter, Rimini reveals its quieter, more authentic side - the locals reclaim the beach, and the medieval center comes to the fore.
