Pietrasanta's skatepark sits in this Tuscan art town known as the 'Little Athens' for its concentration of sculptors' workshops and galleries - artists from Botero to Mitoraj have worked with the local marble. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. The town sits at the foot of the Apuan Alps, whose white marble quarries have supplied sculptors since Michelangelo's day.
