About Piazzale della Costituzione
Cuneo's skatepark serves this Piedmontese city perched on a wedge-shaped plateau at the confluence of the Stura and Gesso torrents. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Cuneo's dramatic position - the name means 'wedge' - gives it panoramic views of the Maritime Alps, and on clear days the peaks seem close enough to touch. The Via Roma, a long porticoed street, is one of the most impressive in Piedmont. The surrounding valleys (Valle Stura, Val Gesso, Val Vermenagna) offer skiing, hiking, and access to the Maritime Alps Natural Park. The park draws riders from the Cuneo area. The food is mountain Piedmontese - ravioles del plin, tajarin, and the famous Cuneo rum chocolate are signatures.
