About Parco della Rimembranza
Fasano's skatepark serves this Apulian town at the gateway to the trulli country of the Itria Valley - the extraordinary landscape of conical stone-roofed dwellings unique to this part of Italy. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Fasano's Zoosafari is one of Italy's largest safari parks, and the nearby Egnazia archaeological site preserves Messapian and Roman ruins on the coast. The park draws riders from the Fasano area. The food is Apulian heartland - orecchiette, bombette (meat rolls), and burrata from nearby Andria. Alberobello, the UNESCO-listed trulli capital, is just up the road. The Itria Valley landscape of red earth, dry-stone walls, olive groves, and scattered trulli is unlike anywhere else in the world.
