About Parco del Teatro Romano
Gubbio's skatepark sits near the Roman theater in this remarkably preserved medieval Umbrian hill town that clings dramatically to Monte Ingino's lower slopes. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Gubbio is one of Italy's most atmospheric medieval towns - the Palazzo dei Consoli dominates the Piazza Grande, the Festa dei Ceri candle race (held every May 15th) is one of Italy's most spectacular traditional festivals, and the narrow stone streets have barely changed in centuries. The Roman theater below the old town is remarkably well-preserved. The park draws riders from the Eugubino area. The food is Umbrian mountain - tartufo nero, strangozzi, and grilled meats. The Christmas tree lights covering Monte Ingino create the 'world's largest Christmas tree' each December.
