About Parco Baden Powell Skate
Cassino's skatepark serves this Lazio town forever associated with the Battle of Monte Cassino - one of the fiercest battles of World War II. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. The rebuilt Benedictine abbey on Monte Cassino, founded by Saint Benedict in 529 AD and destroyed and rebuilt multiple times (most recently after the devastating 1944 bombardment), sits on the mountaintop above with magnificent views.
