About Novara Skatepark
Novara's skatepark serves Piedmont's second-largest city, dominated by the enormous dome of the Basilica di San Gaudenzio - designed by Antonelli and visible from kilometers away across the flat rice-paddy plain. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Novara sits in the heartland of Italian rice production, surrounded by flooded paddies that create a shimmering, almost surreal landscape in spring. The city has a compact, elegant center with the Broletto medieval palace and a peaceful atmosphere. The park draws riders from across the Novara province. The food is rice-centric - paniscia novarese (a rich risotto with beans and salumi) is the signature dish, and the local Gorgonzola cheese is produced nearby. Milan is just forty minutes by train.
