Massafra's skatepark brings concrete skating to this Apulian town famous for its gravine - dramatic limestone gorges carved into the landscape, filled with cave churches and medieval rock-cut settlements. The park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Massafra sits on the inland edge of the Ionian coast between Taranto and the trulli country of the Itria Valley. The rock churches with their Byzantine frescoes are a hidden treasure of southern Italy.
