About Località Baltera Skatepark
Riva del Garda's skatepark sits at the northern tip of Lake Garda where the lake narrows between towering Alpine cliffs. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Riva del Garda is dramatically beautiful - the lake, the medieval Rocca fortress, and the vertical cliffs of Monte Brione create a setting that has drawn visitors since the Grand Tour era. The town is also one of Europe's premier windsurfing and sailing destinations, with reliable afternoon thermal winds. The park draws riders from the northern Garda area. The food is lake-influenced Trentino - lake fish (lavarello, trout), carne salada (cured beef), and the local wines from the Sarca valley. The panoramic strada del Ponale, an old road carved into the cliff face above the lake, offers spectacular views.
