About Isola dell'Unione Skatepark
Chioggia's skatepark serves this unique Venetian fishing city - a miniature Venice with canals, bridges, and painted fishing boats, but without the tourist hordes. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Chioggia sits at the southern end of the Venetian lagoon and has been a fishing port for centuries. The Corso del Popolo runs the length of the old town, crossed by canal bridges, and the fish market is one of the most authentic in the Adriatic. The park draws riders from the Chioggia area. The food is seafood-centric - seppie in nero (cuttlefish in ink), sardines, and the local radicchio di Chioggia (the round, striped variety). Sottomarina's beach is just across the bridge.
