About Foligno Skatepark
Foligno's skatepark serves this Umbrian city in the Valle Umbra - the fertile valley running through the heart of the green region. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Foligno has a grand medieval center and hosts the Giostra della Quintana, a Renaissance jousting tournament held twice annually with elaborate costumes and fierce competition between the city's rioni (quarters). The city claims to be where the first printed edition of Dante's Divine Comedy was produced in 1472. The park draws riders from central Umbria. The food is Umbrian excellence - strangozzi pasta, black truffles from nearby Norcia, and the local Sagrantino wine are world-class. Assisi, birthplace of Saint Francis, is visible on its hillside just a few kilometers northwest.
