Empoli's skatepark sits in the Parco di Serravalle in this Arno valley town between Florence and Pisa. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Empoli was a center of glass production in the Renaissance, and the distinctive green glass of Empoli is still collected today. The town's position in the fertile Arno valley means excellent agricultural produce, and the nearby Vinci - Leonardo's birthplace - adds Renaissance pedigree to the area.
