Catanzaro's Cz Extreme brings skateboarding to the capital of Calabria, the region forming Italy's toe. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. Catanzaro sits on a hilltop between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas - at its narrowest point, the Calabrian peninsula is only about thirty kilometers wide, and on clear days you can reportedly see both coasts. Calabria is one of Italy's most rugged and least-visited regions, with stunning coastline, ancient Greek ruins, and mountain villages where traditions have barely changed in centuries.
