About Bissuola Skatepark
Located in Mestre's Parco Albanese - the mainland side of Venice - Bissuola brings modern concrete skating to the Venetian lagoon area. Opened in 2021, the park features contemporary design with a flow bowl, street section including ledges, flat bars, and banks, plus manual pads and quarter pipes. Mestre is where most Venetians actually live, offering normal-city amenities at a fraction of island Venice's tourist prices. The park benefits from its recent construction with excellent concrete quality and modern obstacle design. Venice itself is a short bus or train ride across the causeway - you can combine a skate session with wandering the world's most improbable city. Mestre has undergone significant revitalization, and the Parco Albanese provides welcome green space. Local cicchetti bars serve Venetian-style tapas at the bar, and a glass of prosecco from the nearby Valdobbiadene hills is always appropriate.
