Battipaglia's skatepark serves this Campanian city on the Piana del Sele, famous above all for producing some of the world's finest mozzarella di bufala. The concrete park features ledges, banks, manual pads, quarter pipes, and flat bars. The water buffalo that produce the prized cheese graze in the surrounding plains, and caseifici (dairies) offer fresh mozzarella still warm from the vat. Battipaglia sits between the Amalfi Coast and the Greek temples of Paestum - two of Italy's most spectacular attractions are within easy reach. The park draws riders from the Salerno plain.
