Sligo's indoor skatepark, Zero Gravity gives northwest Ireland's skaters a year-round option when the Atlantic weather closes down outdoor sessions. The indoor facility features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, rails, a funbox, and a flatground area. Being indoor in a region where it rains more than 200 days a year is no small advantage, and the park has become essential to Sligo's skating community. The Cleveragh Business Park location means it's not the most scenic setting, but the skating quality and year-round availability make up for it. The facility runs coaching sessions and events, building the northwest's skating community from the ground up. Sligo town's pubs and restaurants are a short drive away, and the surrounding countryside - Ben Bulben, Glencar Waterfall, the surf beaches - provides endless outdoor adventures for days when you do want to venture outside.
