About Trim Skatepark
In the shadow of Trim Castle - Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman castle and filming location for Braveheart - this Porchfields skatepark serves one of Meath's most historic towns. The park features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a manual pad. Trim Castle's massive keep and curtain walls are genuinely spectacular, and the Boyne flows past the castle grounds. The medieval town has the Yellow Steeple, Talbot's Castle, and a rich heritage that draws visitors from around the world. Local riders enjoy skating near one of Ireland's most impressive castles, and the Porchfields provides pleasant green space. The town's restaurants and pubs are excellent, and the Boyne Valley's wider attractions are all nearby.
