About Swords Skatepark
In Balheary Park in Swords - north Dublin's largest town and effectively Dublin's second city center - this skatepark has been serving the community since 2010. The park features a bowl, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a manual pad. Swords is named after a well (Sord) associated with St. Colmcille, and the medieval Swords Castle is undergoing restoration. The town has grown into a major commercial center with the Pavilions Shopping Centre and Dublin Airport nearby.
