In south Dublin's affluent coastal suburb of Monkstown, this skatepark near the Bluepool leisure centre serves the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown community. The park features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a gap. Monkstown's position between Dún Laoghaire harbour and the DART line makes it one of Dublin's most connected suburbs. The views across Dublin Bay to Howth Head are stunning, and the coastal walk between Dún Laoghaire and Dalkey is among the best urban walks in Ireland. The area has excellent restaurants, and the nearby Dún Laoghaire harbour front has been transformed with markets and cultural events. Local riders benefit from the well-maintained facilities and the beautiful coastal setting. It's south Dublin skateboarding at its most scenic.
