At the confluence of the Liffey and Rye rivers in north Kildare, Leixlip's skatepark serves this historically significant town. The park features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a gap. Leixlip's name comes from the Norse 'salmon leap,' referring to the waterfall on the Liffey.
