Brand new in January 2026, Kinnegad's skatepark gives this small Westmeath town at the junction of Ireland's two major motorways a modern recreational facility. The park features a flow bowl, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a manual pad. Kinnegad sits where the M4 (Dublin-Galway) and M6 routes meet, making it a natural stopping point and one of Ireland's most connected small towns. The Royal Canal passes through town, providing pleasant waterside walks. Being so new, the park represents the latest generation of Irish skatepark design. Local riders from Kinnegad and surrounding villages like Milltownpass and Killare have embraced the facility.
