About Bushy Park Skatepark
One of Dublin's oldest and most beloved skateparks, Bushy Park in Terenure has been a cornerstone of Irish skateboarding since 2006. The park features a classic layout with a bowl, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a manual pad. Bushy Park itself is a beautiful Victorian-era park with a river, duck ponds, and mature trees providing shade on rare sunny Dublin days. The skatepark has seen generations of Irish skaters develop their skills, and the community here is warm and welcoming. The surrounding Terenure and Rathfarnham neighborhoods are among Dublin's most desirable residential areas, with excellent cafes, pubs, and restaurants nearby. The Luas tram line is within walking distance, connecting to Dublin city center. It's the park that launched many Irish skating careers, and the history embedded in its concrete is palpable.
