About Birr Skatepark
In one of Ireland's most attractive Georgian towns, Birr brings its scientific heritage - the Birr Castle telescope was once the world's largest - to its community skatepark. The park features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, and a gap. Birr Castle Demesne and its historic gardens are home to the Great Telescope, and the Parsons family's scientific achievements put this small town on the global map.
