About Miðbakki Skatepark
At the Miðbakki cruise terminal in Reykjavík's old harbour area, this outdoor skatepark offers terrain by the North Atlantic waterfront. The layout features ledges, rails, banks, and a quarter pipe. The harbour's fishing boats, the views across Faxaflói Bay to Mount Esja, the Harpa concert hall's glass façade, and the midnight sun in summer create the most dramatically lit skate setting in the subarctic.
