Freshly rebuilt in 2025, Budapest Garden - known locally as Görzenál - sits on the Danube bank in Óbuda, Budapest's oldest district. The park features a massive redesigned layout with a deep bowl, a snake run, quarter pipes, a comprehensive street section with ledges, rails, handrails, and manual pads, plus a large flatground area. The rebuild transformed what was already one of Hungary's most important skateparks into a world-class facility that attracts riders from across Central Europe. Óbuda's Roman ruins are literally next door - Aquincum, the ancient Roman settlement, is a short walk away - creating one of the most historically layered skatepark settings imaginable. The Danube River flows past, and the HÉV suburban train provides easy access from central Budapest. The nearby Árpád Bridge area has restaurants, ruin bars, and the famous Óbudai Piac market for fresh Hungarian food. This is Hungary's flagship park, and the 2025 rebuild has made it better than ever.
