About Volos Skatepark
Volos Skatepark is located in Anavros Park in Volos, a port city at the foot of Mount Pelion in Thessaly, the mythological home of the centaurs and departure point of the Argonauts. Built in 2014, the park sits in a waterfront park along the Pagasetic Gulf. The layout has street features with ledges, flat bars, banks, and some quarterpipe areas. Volos is one of Greece's most livable cities - big enough to have everything you need, small enough to feel like a community. The waterfront promenade (paralia) is legendary for its tsipouradika (tsipouro tavernas) where you get free meze plates with every round of drinks. The skatepark is part of this waterfront scene, and the sea views make sessions especially enjoyable.
